Job summary

Oratomic is seeking a procurement lead to own purchasing end-to-end—from translating team requests into same-day orders to tracking lead times and expediting shipments. You’ll manage vendor relationships and ensure international orders and customs are handled smoothly, reconciling invoices to POs through to payment.

You’ll work with scientists and engineers in a fast-paced environment to secure equipment for building a quantum computer, with equity and visa sponsorship available.

• Own purchasing end-to-end, convert requests into orders and manage lead times.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotes, expedites, and shipments, including international orders.
• Reconcile invoices against POs through to payment and ensure compliance.

Job description

We're looking for someone to own purchasing end to end — turning team requests into same-day orders, tracking lead times, chasing confirmations and late shipments, corresponding with vendors on quotes and expedites, managing international orders and customs, and reconciling invoices against POs through to payment. You'll work closely with a team of scientists and engineers in a fast-paced environment, owning vendor relationships and long-term partnerships while ensuring the seamless acquisition of all equipment needed to build a quantum computer.

Compensation:

• $130,000-$200,000/year depending on experience
