Job summary

Placements24 in Kimberley, Canada is seeking a diligent Quality Systems Engineer to join our client’s team. You will maintain and improve the quality management system, ensuring products and processes meet ISO 9001 standards, and lead audits, CAPA programs, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, at least four years of quality experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent documentation and communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality engineering or quality systems management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's QMS in compliance with ISO 9001.
  • Conduct internal audits and process audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and lead root cause analysis for non-conformances.
  • Develop and implement CAPA to address quality issues.
  • Train employees on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure quality is integrated into all processes.

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and auditing quality procedures, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of quality principles, and the ability to foster a quality-conscious culture throughout the organization in Kimberley .

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
