Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with logistics software and WMS.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Logistics and Efficiency Engineer to join their team in Kimberley . This role is dedicated to optimizing the flow of goods and materials, improving warehouse operations, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency. You will analyze current logistics processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement practical solutions to reduce costs and increase speed and reliability. This position offers a great opportunity to apply industrial engineering principles in a key role within the Northern Cape's commercial sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze existing logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts, material flow systems, and inventory control strategies.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations, providing regular performance reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external logistics partners to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
  • Implement lean principles and continuous improvement techniques to enhance supply chain agility.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies or systems to improve logistics efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
