Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001:2015 QMS across Canadian offices, based in Vancouver, BC. The role involves leadership on bids and projects, development of quality training, and driving continuous improvement with project teams.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in engineering with a P.Eng, 10+ years of quality management experience in relevant sectors, and ISO 9001 lead auditor training.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering with P.Eng requirement.
• At least ten years of quality management experience in engineering design, construction of Power/Renewables, Rail Transit or Infrastructure.
• Trained ISO 9001 lead auditor with knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and related standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Autodesk Forma is an asset.
• Excellent communication and leadership in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality management leadership on bids and projects.
• Implement and maintain the QMS for regional offices and projects.
• Act as Project Quality Manager on projects and mentor teams on quality requirements.
• Prepare audit programs and conduct internal and external quality audits (ISO/client).
• Present data at management reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage non-conformances and corrective actions with project teams.
• Support EGBC Permit to Practice training and audits.
