Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Quality Manager to join our Toronto-based team. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining the ISO 9001:2015 QMS for Canadian offices and projects, with responsibilities spanning audit programs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

The incumbent will mentor project teams on quality requirements, lead audits, and present data at management reviews to ensure effective operation and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of quality management experience in engineering design or infrastructure projects.
  • Trained Quality Auditor (ISO 9001 lead auditor training preferred).
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and Autodesk Construction Cloud is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for regional offices and projects.
  • Develop quality training programs and corrective actions for nonconformities.
  • Lead internal and external quality audits (ISO/client).
  • Present data at management review meetings and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support project teams with quality requirements and issue resolution.
  • Mentor project teams on quality practices.

AtkinsRéalis is searching for a Project Quality Manager to join our team based in Toronto . The incumbent will be responsible for implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001:2015 registered Quality Management System (QMS) for the Canadian offices.

Your role
  • Implementation and maintenance of Quality Management System for regional offices and projects including development and implementation of quality orientation, training programs and Correction programs and when applicable, Corrective Action in respect to Nonconformities including monitoring of implementation of continuous improvement programs and client satisfaction.
  • Role of Project Quality Manager on projects and supporting/mentoring projects in quality requirements.
  • Preparation of Audit Programs and scheduling, conducting, managing and participating in Internal and External Quality Audits (ISO/client).
  • Development and presentation of data at the regular management review meetings with top management, including taking necessary actions to ensure effective operation and continuous improvement of the QMS.
  • Managing the initiated non-conformances and corrective actions and working with all project team to resolve.
  • Participate in the project team meetings and provide quality support.
About You
  • University Degree or Diploma of Technology (civil, mechanical, electrical engineering preferred) P.Eng. is an asset for the position.
  • A minimum of five (5) years quality management experience in engineering design, construction of mass transit and/or infrastructure projects.
  • Trained Quality Auditor (ISO 9001 lead auditor training preferred) including excellent working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard and familiarity with various industry codes, standards and regulations governing quality management.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio, Access) and Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud is an asset.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and leadership skills as well as the ability to work in a demanding multidisciplinary environment.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $140,000 - $160,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
