Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer/Scientist to support projects in British Columbia. You will provide senior technical direction, lead proposals and projects, and mentor staff across the Environment Practice.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Technical Practices and Business Units, with a focus on safety, quality, and client objectives in a hybrid work environment in Canada.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience.
• Licensed professional and CSAP in BC.
• Technical expertise in mining-sector environmental work (assets).
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring staff.
• Strong knowledge of BC/Canadian environmental standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of environmental professionals and technical staff.
• Provide leadership with focus on collaboration and inclusion.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders and regulatory bodies as appropriate.
• Lead senior level project management, budgets and schedules for deliverables.
• Identify risks and develop strategies to minimize them.
