Job description

Title : Quality Inspector FAI

Location : Granby, Quebec, Canada

Duration : Fulltime role

Responsibilities

• Organize the work of the production crews during each shift and plan for the next day with the flight coordinator.
• Manage priorities, assign work to the right resource according to the skill list.
• Evaluation of the amount of resources needed for the work to be done.
• Supervise and support the Blue collar team on technical aspects and processes.
• Act as a reference for production activities.
• Contact Quality for direct inspection when needed.
• Ensure that each shift meets the objectives set by the client and flight coordinator.
• Ensure that Manufacturing milestones are crossed.
• Escalate the problems encountered and make sure to follow up with the support functions (aircraft coordinator, logistics, method, quality, engineering).
• Validation of hours for the entire production team
• Participate in various meetings for the advancement or improvement of the project.
• Evaluate the performance of the production teams.
• Ensure administrative follow-up with employees (badge application, welcome day, stamps, tools)

Skills and qualifications

• You minimum have a Professional Studies Diploma in structure assembly/aeronautical construction or an equivalent.
• You have 3 to 5 years experience in management in the aeronautics field or any other advanced sector.
• You are autonomous, demonstrate judgement and discernment.
• You have the capacity to work as a team, you are able to influence, mobilise and guide various departments.
• You have a great sense of responsibilities, you know how to delegate and prioritise tasks.
• You aim at quality and rigour when performing your work.

Required experience

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
