The Quality Inspector's role involves evaluating detail & assembly parts and test articles to ensure they meet drawings and specifications, following NAT's quality management systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Perform in-process, first article, and final inspections, including customer presentations.
  2. Validate physical and processing characteristics of complex parts.
  3. Ensure manufacturing documentation accuracy and compliance.
  4. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Purchasing departments.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by Quality management.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; equivalency determined by management based on experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Proficiency with gauges, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and Faro Arm for inspections.
  • Experience with FAI documentation using AS9102 forms.
  • Ability to write non-conformance reports and work independently.
  • Strong ethical judgment and experience in aerospace mechanical inspection (10+ years).
