Reporting Line

This position reports to the Procurement & Logistics Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will work on a team focused on improving the customer experience in product quality and performance in the warranty returns area of the warehouse. You will oversee quality improvement initiatives across the entire value chain, from suppliers to customers, ensuring high-quality assistance for technical or application-critical situations related to products. You will ensure that products and systems meet specified requirements in a cost-effective and safe working environment within the local business. The work model for this role is: ONSITE.

You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Driving warehouse quality center operational efficiency and implementing lean improvements.
2. Evaluating and determining the functionality of returned products based on technical specifications, quality standards, and established procedures.
3. Maintaining complete and accurate data in ERP (SAP) and customer-facing systems (Salesforce).
4. Ensuring quality control of system processing and product testing according to international standards and internal procedures.
5. Ensuring the local organization has the necessary hardware and software capabilities to meet product and system requirements.
6. Coordinating customer complaints to analyze root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions, working within cross-functional teams.
7. Promoting the voice of the customer and evaluating risks, problems, and solutions from their perspective.
8. Designing, developing, and implementing metrics to identify inefficiencies, prioritize improvements, and reduce waste.
9. Overseeing quality reports and improvement activities, monitoring progress, and adjusting strategies to meet KPIs.
10. Using quality data analytics to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) with at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse facilities.
• Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Familiarity with low voltage products, devices, and regulations (IEC/UL/CCC/CSA).
• Experience in Data Analysis & Reporting.
• Experience in Supplier Relationship Management.
• Must have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
