Job summary

Magna International in Concord, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Quality Engineer with 5–7 years of experience. The role focuses on PPAP coordination, APQP adherence, and leading engineering changes in a Tier 1 automotive environment.

You will review approvals, manage plant trials, and support containment and warranty resolutions. A CQE is preferred, with opportunities for growth within Magna’s Cosma programs.

Qualifications

• Completion of community college diploma/certificate.
• 5-7 years of work-related experience.
• Post-secondary education in mechanical/quality engineering.
• ASQC/CQE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, participate and approve PPAP timing.
• Review Government Approvals and Inspection Standards.
• Lead plant trials for Engineering changes and New Program Launches.
• Support Launch Containment System and warranty issue resolution.
• Coordinate and participate in PFMEA, BOM reviews, and other quality processes.
