Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Quality Management professional to oversee on-site quality control on construction projects. The role includes deploying the Quality Plan, ensuring adherence to standards, and supporting field teams to uphold contractual requirements.

The candidate will monitor quality processes, identify risks early, and drive continuous improvement through documentation and reporting. A hybrid work model applies for corporate roles in Canada.

Qualifications

• Training in construction (trade diploma or technical diploma), engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in quality management within construction projects.
• Strong understanding of on-site realities and construction constraints.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Strong technical documentation skills and comfort with digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and enforce the Quality Plan on construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, standards, codes, and internal procedures.
• Implement required quality controls at the various stages of construction work.
• Monitor, analyze, and close non-conformities.
• Maintain an active presence on construction sites to support field teams.
• Act as a quality resource for Project Managers, Superintendents, and Subcontractors.
• Prepare required quality reports for projects and management.
