Job summary

Pomerleau in Montreal, QC seeks a Quality Coordinator/Manager to lead project quality management across large-scale construction projects. You will plan, monitor, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, working closely with field teams and clients.

This role emphasizes developing ITPs, quality dashboards, and non-conformance management, with support for construction teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality requirements in construction.
  • Solid understanding of construction codes, standards, specifications, and work methods.
  • Experience in document management, compliance verification, and non-conformance management.
  • Ability to conduct site inspections and verify work against contractual/technical requirements.
  • Proven ability to identify, document, and communicate quality deviations observed in the field.
  • Knowledge of inspection and acceptance processes for materials, equipment, and critical construction activities.
  • Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, procedures, and technical documentation to ensure deliverables meet requirements.
  • Experience preparing ITPs, inspection reports, quality dashboards, and KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain all quality documentation required for the project.
  • Analyze non-conformities and recommend appropriate corrective solutions.
  • Track corrective actions through to resolution.
  • Participate in site meetings and support construction teams and subcontractors.
  • Communicate quality requirements to all project stakeholders.
  • Provide training, coaching, and support to teams to promote quality practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on construction standards and quality-related practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Analyze project risks, quality issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Are you looking to contribute to large-scale projects while supporting field teams in achieving the highest quality standards? We are seeking a Quality Coordinator / Quality Manager who will play a key role in the management and implementation of quality requirements across our projects.
