Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Quality Coordinator / Quality Manager to lead quality activities across major projects in Canada. You will plan, monitor, and ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and company requirements on site and for corporate teams.

You'll develop and manage the Project Quality Management Plan, verify technical documents, train teams, and drive continuous improvement through QA dashboards, KPIs, and effective non-conformance handling.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) in construction.
• Understanding of codes, standards, specs, and methods in construction.
• Experience in document control, compliance checks, and non-conformance handling.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and verify work against requirements.
• Ability to document and communicate deviations observed in the field.
• Experience preparing ITPs, inspection reports, KPIs and quality dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan.
• Manage and verify the compliance of technical documents and quality deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain all quality documentation required for the project.
• Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Track corrective actions through to resolution and closure.
• Support site meetings and construction teams with quality guidance.
• Communicate quality requirements to project stakeholders.
• Provide training and coaching on quality best practices.
• Act as SME on construction standards and quality methods.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Analyze risks and drive continuous improvement in quality.

Are you looking to contribute to large-scale projects while supporting field teams in achieving the highest quality standards? We are seeking a Quality Coordinator / Quality Manager who will play a key role in the management and implementation of quality requirements across our projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the quality-related activities of one or more projects to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational requirements.

What you will do

• Prepare, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan.
• Manage and verify the compliance of technical documents and quality deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain all quality documentation required for the project.
• Analyze non-conformities and recommend appropriate corrective solutions.
• Track corrective actions through to their complete resolution.
• Participate in site meetings and support construction teams and subcontractors.
• Communicate quality requirements to all project stakeholders.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to teams to promote quality best practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on construction standards, methods, and quality-related practices.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Analyze project risks, quality issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality requirements applicable to the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of construction codes, standards, specifications, and work methods.
• Experience in document management, compliance verification, and non-conformance management.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and verify work compliance against contractual and technical requirements.
• Proven ability to identify, document, and communicate quality deviations observed in the field.
• Knowledge of inspection and acceptance processes for materials, equipment, and critical construction activities.
• Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, procedures, and technical documentation to ensure deliverable compliance.
• Experience preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection reports, quality dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
