Zusammenfassung

Pomerleau Construction is seeking a Quality Lead to guide the quality strategy on major building and infrastructure projects. You will implement a project-specific Quality Management System and oversee QA/QC activities from planning through handover.

You will liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements, driving improvements across the project team.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in engineering, architecture, or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of construction/quality management experience.
• Experience interpreting contracts, specs, drawings, codes and standards.
• Independent work style with sound judgment and influence.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with practical approach.
• Proficiency with MS Office and quality documentation systems.
• Fluency in English and French.

Aufgaben

• Lead project quality on construction sites, guiding team and subcontractors.
• Bridge between client, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on quality matters.
• Review documents to identify quality requirements and risks.
• Create and maintain Quality Management Plan and QA/QC processes.
• Develop Inspection and Test Plans and schedules aligned with construction look-ahead.
• Plan pre-installation meetings with team and suppliers.
• Oversee inspections, testing, material receipts and traceability.
• Manage non-conformities and corrective actions with site teams.
• Monitor quality records and KPIs for continuous improvement.
• Support audits and share lessons learned across the project.
• Lead close-out with complete records and warranties.
