Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Quality Coordinator/Manager to lead quality across multiple projects in Canada, coordinating plans, documents, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

You will work with field teams, clients, and subcontractors to implement best practices, train teams, and monitor quality performance through dashboards and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality requirements in construction.
• Solid understanding of construction codes, standards, specifications, and work methods.
• Experience in document management, compliance verification, and non-conformance management.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and verify work against contractual and technical requirements.
• Proven ability to identify, document, and communicate quality deviations observed in the field.
• Experience preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection reports, quality dashboards, and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan.
• Manage and verify the compliance of technical documents and quality deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain all quality documentation required for the project.
• Analyze non-conformities and recommend appropriate corrective solutions.
• Track corrective actions through to their complete resolution.
• Participate in site meetings and support construction teams and subcontractors.
• Communicate quality requirements to all project stakeholders.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to teams to promote quality best practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on construction standards, methods, and quality-related practices.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Analyze project risks, quality issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Experience preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection reports, quality dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
