Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Ottawa, ON to support aggregate quality control through sampling, testing, and documentation. The role emphasizes independence, accuracy, and timely communication of results to operations and quality teams.

The ideal candidate has a college diploma in Civil or Environmental Technology with at least 1 year of related experience, a valid G-class license, and bilingual proficiency in French and English. Travel between sites is expected in this role.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Environmental Technology, or related field.
• Fluent bilingual communication in French and English, written and spoken.
• 1 year of quality control or laboratory testing experience preferred.
• Valid G-class driver’s license; CCIL certification in Aggregates or ability to obtain within required timeframe.

Responsabilités

• Perform sampling and QC testing to support product specifications and customer expectations.
• Provide accurate test results and quality information to teams.
• Support field and laboratory QC activities across sites with independence.
• Identify abnormal or non-conforming results and elevate concerns promptly.
• Maintain quality records, data entry, and traceability in systems.
