Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee daily laboratory operations in a Canada-based site. You will ensure materials testing accuracy and regulatory compliance while maintaining high operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering or related field and a minimum of 5 years in a quality-focused lab setting, with strong knowledge of material properties and geochemistry. Travel is <5% and SAP, Microsoft and Google Suite proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Materials Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a laboratory or quality-controlled industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform daily laboratory operations and shift scheduling.
• Establish relationships with customers and ensure products meet technical specs.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of lab equipment and service schedules.
• Validate accuracy and timeliness of quality reports to customers.
• Monitor stockpile inventory and coordinate with production for throughput.
