Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Structural Project Supervisor for their Vancouver office. Qualifications

  • Valid BC Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

Join to apply for the Structural Project Supervisor role at Associated Engineering.

We currently have an opening for a Structural Project Supervisor in our Vancouver office. The role focuses on supporting the successful delivery of BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure projects in the transportation sector. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients and contractors during all project phases, observing on-site activities, documenting progress, tracking submittals, reporting issues to the Ministry, and facilitating resolution discussions.

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution OR 5+ years of field experience on bridges.
  • Knowledge of WorkSafe BC processes and safety policies is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word; familiarity with database software is an asset.
  • Understanding of bridge functions, structural behavior, and constructability.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with Ministry staff and contractors, facilitating meetings, and report writing.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including project documentation, scheduling, and budget management.
  • Attention to detail in reviewing and administering construction contracts.
  • Ability to work on-site during construction.
  • Quick learner with professional growth ambitions.
  • Team player capable of independent work with minimal supervision.
  • Ownership of tasks on projects.
  • Valid BC Driver’s License.

The salary range is $65,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience.
