Job summary

Stuart Olson is seeking an inspector to ensure project teams follow the Quality Management System, perform multi-discipline field inspections, and review drawings and specifications to support field execution.

The role involves welding inspection, NDE request preparation, and assisting with ITPs, including witness points and client approvals. A strong compliance mindset and field experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in the maintenance or construction industry.
• Journeyman trade designation an asset.
• Welding Engineering Technology (WET) or Materials Engineering Technology (MET) an asset.
• Experience working with regulatory authorities (TSBC, ABSA, TSASK, ITSM).
• Excellent computer skills with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including at heights, in confined spaces, and around noise and dust
• Physically capable of standing, walking, climbing ladders and scaffolding, and lifting up to 50 lbs. (or more with assistance)
• Must be clean shaven and able to wear required PPE, including steel-toed safety boots and respiratory protection as required by site policies.
