This is a 12-month contract role on the Night Shift.

Job Overview:

The QA Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and packaging. The role focuses on maintaining production standards to prevent contamination, testing product attributes and packaging integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facility sanitation. The technician will also lead and support laboratory and sanitation staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in food safety and quality systems.
• Lead plant efforts on product safety programs and issues.
• Conduct regular quality checks and educate production staff on quality standards.
• Ensure ingredients and packaging meet specifications before use.
• Maintain food safety standards within the facility.
• Follow Give & Go’s quality and food safety protocols.
• Analyze and ensure product quality according to procedures.
• Perform GMP audits and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Maintain high product and packaging quality within budget guidelines.
• Promote safety in the workplace.
• Recommend manufacturing practice improvements for product safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
