Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Experience in managing internal audit programs.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.

Your role with us:

The Quality Assurance Specialist plans and administrates a robust internal and vendor audit program. By analyzing the audit results, along with non-conformances, corrective and/or preventative actions, and investigation outcomes, the Quality Assurance Specialist will make recommendations to drive continual improvement of the ISO 9001 compliant management system. The Quality Assurance Specialist will provide guidance and expertise in the development, implementation, and training of the management system processes.

You will bring to the role:

  • 5 years of experience working in a quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing and ISO 9001 certified environment.
  • Post-secondary education in an engineering or technical field is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing internal audit programs.
  • Experience developing and leading training programs.
  • Oil and gas industry experience is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task along with a commitment towards accuracy and a willingness to embrace and endorse strict adherence to policy and procedure.
  • Computer proficiency in Office Suite of products.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and teambuilding skills.
