New Flyer in Winnipeg is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Assurance Department and uphold the company’s ISO 9001 certified system across the plant. You will drive performance, safety and customer satisfaction while stewarding continuous improvement in a two‑shift operation.

The role requires a technical bachelor’s degree and several years in QA with leadership experience. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills are essential in this dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years in Quality Assurance and 3+ years in management.
• Experience in low-volume, high-mix environments is preferred.
• Travel up to 10% or less.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Assurance department and ensure ISO 9001 alignment.
• Provide guidance, training plans, and performance reviews for QA staff.
• Maintain safety, regulatory and customer satisfaction standards across the Winnipeg plant.
• Drive First-Time Quality initiatives and coordinate root-cause analyses with production.
• Collaborate with other Quality Managers to ensure consistent processes and problem resolution.
