Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada is seeking a Test Lead in Banking projects to drive QA and testing excellence. You will lead testing efforts across deposits, cards, lending and other retail banking initiatives, ensuring robust QA practices and meaningful metrics.

Experience with HP ALM, Jira, Confluence, and testing tools is preferred in a Banking/Financial domain. This full-time role requires strong SDLC knowledge, reporting skills, and hands-on expertise in testing frameworks and tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT QA and functional testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing concepts.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
• Ability to compile and interpret reports.
• Experience in system analysis and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on with testing tools and version control.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing for banking projects (Deposits, Cards, Lending).
• Ensure strong IT QA and functional testing practices.
• Apply SDLC and testing methodologies (waterfall, agile).
• Define goals and measurement plans for software performance.
• Compile and interpret test reports for stakeholders.
• Leverage system analysis, programming and troubleshooting skills.
• Utilize HP ALM, Jira, Confluence and testing tools (Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Postman, SoapUI).
• Banking or Financial domain experience is required.

Roles and Responsibility

• Test Lead in Banking projects (Deposits, Cards, Lending or other retail banking projects).
• Good knowledge of IT QA and functional testing.
• Seasoned knowledge of SDLC, testing concepts, methodologies (waterfall, agile etc) metrics, automated testing frameworks and industry testing standards.
• Define goals and measurement plans for software process performance in accordance with business objectives.
• Solid experience in compiling and interpreting reports.
• Extensive experience in system analysis , assessment, programming and troubleshooting of software applications
• Must have strong knowledge in HP ALM Quality centre, Confluence, JIRA & Testing tools (Git or Bitbucket, Maven, Postman, SoapUI or similar tools)
• Must have worked in Banking or Financial domain

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year
