Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. seeks a Sr. SDET to lead Gen AI testing, shift-left engineering, and automation across web and API testing. You will architect test suites for high-frequency CI/CD, leverage cloud testing platforms, and drive improvements in deployment reliability.

Join an Agile squad and contribute to innovative QA practices, leveraging Gen AI tools and autonomous agents where applicable. Strong collaboration with cross-functional partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Gen AI testing and automation experience.
• Experience integrating Gen AI into testing processes.
• Strong CI/CD and scripting for test automation.
• Web and API testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, Rest Assured.
• Experience with Git branching and merging strategies.
• Ability to work in an Agile squad.

Skills Required:

• Gen AI Testing Pioneer: Lead the integration of Gen AI into all phases of testing from automated test case generation and synthetic data creation to intelligent bug analysis.
• Shift-Left Engineering: Work side-by-side with developers to automate everything.
• You will architect robust test suites that run within high-frequency CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure & Simulation: Leverage cloud-based testing platforms and service virtualization to enable testing in isolated, high-scale environments.
• Drive Automation: Design and implement CI/CD pipeline enhancements through agent integration to increase deployment efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate: Work within an Agile squad of technical and business partners.
• Good Professional experience in Quality Engineering and Automation.
• Multi-Platform Testing: Proven expertise in Web (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress),API testing (Postman, Rest Assured).
• Version Control: Expert knowledge of Git branching and merging strategies.
• The Modern AI & Tools Edge
• Gen AI in QE: Proven experience leveraging Gen AI (e.g., Copilot, Claude, or specialized QA agents) for test script generation, maintenance, and edge-case discovery.

• Agentic AI for QE: Familiarity with building or using autonomous agents for self-healing test suites or exploratory testing.

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
