Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions in Toronto seeks a QA Automation Engineer to drive web and API testing efforts. You will use Playwright with TypeScript to automate tests and coordinate mobile validation using Android Studio and Xcode for end-to-end coverage.

Requirements include 6+ years in automation, Postman/Pytest experience, and strong testing methodology knowledge. Fintech exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience automating tests for Web and APIs (Cypress/Playwright with TS).
• Mobile testing experience using Android Studio and Xcode.
• Experience with API automation testing using Pytest and Postman.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies: Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, White box, and Black box.
• Experience with Jira, Xray and Confluence.
• Fintech industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Automate tests for Web and APIs using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Perform mobile testing across Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Mandatory skills: Playwright /Typescript / Mobile & API Integration testing

• 6+ years of experience with automating tests for Web(Cypress, Playwright with typescript) and APIs.
• Mobile testing experience using Android Studio and Xcode
• Experience working with Postman and API automation testing using Pytest.
• Strong grasp of testing methodologies for all types of testing - Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, White box, and Black box testing.
• Experience with Atlassian products like Jira, Xray and Confluence
• Experience and knowledge in the Fintech industry is an asset.
