Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking an Automation Quality Engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks. This contract role requires strong expertise in Playwright Automation, Rest Assured, and Mobile Automation, with hands-on experience in Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, and JUnit.

Hybrid work arrangement offered; 4 days in office per week. API automation, BDD/TDD, Git, and CI/CD familiarity are essential for success in a fast-paced BFSI domain project

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days a week in office)

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 06-12 Months

Pay Rate: CAD 55-60/hour Incorporated

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Automation Quality Engineer with 10+ years of hands on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.

Should have strong experience in Playwright Automation, Rest Assured, Mobile Automation

Hands on experience with automation tools such as: Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / TestNG / JUnit

Experience in API automation (REST services)

Good understanding of BDD/TDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.)

Experience with version control systems (Git)

Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies Testing Knowledge

Functional, Regression, Integration, and Smoke Testing

Test strategy creation and test planning

Defect tracking using tools like JIRA, Azure Boards, etc.
