Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. seeks a QA Automation Lead with expertise in mobile, API, and web test automation for banking applications.

The role designs scalable automation frameworks using Appium, Selenium, Playwright, and Rest Assured, and collaborates with Product Owners, Developers and QA teams in an Agile POD-based delivery, in a hybrid onsite model (4 days/week).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services (BFSI).
• Hands-on experience with mobile, web, and API automation.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum and POD-based delivery models.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and Rest Assured.
• Validate end‑to‑end business processes across complex banking applications and integrated systems.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams within Agile squads/PODs.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster releases.
• Track, analyze, and report test execution results, defects, and quality metrics.
• Contribute to automation strategy, framework enhancements, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Banking applications and modern test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in web, mobile, and API automation testing and have hands‑on experience working within Agile teams or POD-based delivery models.

• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cloud‑based testing environments.
• Knowledge of modern Quality Engineering practices.
