Job summary

ESC Corporate Services Ltd. is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to help grow our business and ensure product quality. The role focuses on reviewing requirements, creating test cases, and performing comprehensive testing across complex systems, including SOAP and REST APIs.

You will collaborate with Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality, with a hybrid work model. Ideal candidates have a post-secondary degree in CS/IT and 3–5 years of QA experience, strong

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field combined with 3-5 years of software testing or quality assurance experience.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Experience testing SOAP web services and REST APIs.
Ability to deliver quality documentation & reports - status reports, test plans, test cases, bug tracking reports and risk assessments.
Experience with test automation tools or frameworks, including creating, executing, or maintaining automated tests is an asset.

Responsibilities

Review requirements and design documentation to identify test conditions, potential gaps, risks, and appropriate test coverage.
Create and maintain comprehensive test cases based on business and technical requirements.
Perform testing across complex, multi-component systems, including functional, regression, integration, and non-functional tests, as required.
Test integrations and APIs, including SOAP web services and REST APIs.
Investigate, reproduce, document, and track software defects reported internally or externally, providing clear information to support resolution.
Validate defect fixes through retesting and appropriate regression testing.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, other QA Analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure appropriate test coverage and quality.
