Job summary

ESC Corporate Services Ltd. is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our IT Solutions & Quality Assurance team in Canada. The role focuses on designing and executing tests across complex systems, including APIs and integrations, and collaborating with analysts, developers and stakeholders to ensure quality.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, executing tests, reporting defects, and validating fixes. A post-secondary degree in CS/IT and 3–5 years of QA experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in CS/IT or related field with 3–5 years QA experience.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Experience testing SOAP and REST APIs.
• Ability to document and report test results and risks.
• Experience with test automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and design documents to identify test conditions, gaps, risks and coverage.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test cases based on requirements.
• Perform testing across multi-component systems: functional, regression, integration and non-functional.
• Test integrations and APIs (SOAP and REST).
• Investigate, reproduce, document and track defects; provide clear information for resolution.
• Validate defect fixes through retesting and regression testing.
• Collaborate with BA, Developers, QA Analysts and stakeholders for coverage.
