About the Role

On behalf of our client in the Banking industry, Astek Canada is seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Analyst ready to take on new challenges.

Your Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Managing multiple projects.
• Leading complex projects independently, successfully delivering on requirements, testing, testing artifacts, and obtaining sign-offs.
• Supporting, mentoring, and providing guidance to junior Business Analysts and peers.

Your Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Proficiency in SQL, SAS, VBA with hands-on experience in analytics.
• Expertise in AML transaction monitoring & customer risk rating.

Key Skills:

• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills with business acumen to engage senior audiences.
• Analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, charts, graphics) and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Selenium or other automation tools is an asset.
• Ability to write and create SQL queries.
• Major banking experience.
• Test automation experience and investigative skills.
• Nice to have: SAS, Selenium, VBA, AML.
• Flexibility and resilience to work in an agile environment, managing multiple tasks concurrently.
