Job Description

Under the supervision of the development department, the Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing test environments.
  2. Creating and executing integration tests to ensure the quality of web software.
  3. Testing the validity, accuracy, and reliability of software results according to established standards.
  4. Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing strategies.
  5. Maintaining test scenarios and defining automated and manual test scripts.
  6. Writing test plans and test cases based on developer specifications.
  7. Reviewing and verifying quality standards and testing procedures to maximize software efficiency.
  8. Documenting tests, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance.
  9. Occasionally traveling to clients’ locations for specific projects (as needed).
Desired Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

Technical Skills:
  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of automated tests (asset).
  • Basic programming knowledge (Scripts, Java, or C# ASP.NET — asset).
  • Experience in quality assurance.
  • Understanding of software life cycles.
  • Ability to identify issues, diagnose problems, and suggest corrections.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for occasional travel.
  • Fluency in French (written, spoken, comprehension) is essential. English is an asset, as some clients are English-speaking only.
Personal Qualities:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Leadership, thoroughness, and a strong sense of responsibility.
