Job summary

Kohl & Frisch Limited is seeking a QPIC Supervisor in Concord, ON to lead the Controlled Substances team. The role focuses on handling, counting, and securing controlled substances, while coordinating with QA/RA and Operations management to ensure GMP and Health Canada compliance.

The candidate will oversee SOP adherence, training, and continuous improvement within the department, with coverage across day and night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from a Canadian accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of regulations governing handling of controlled substances.
• Demonstrated leadership and training experience.
• Clear CPIC (Canadian Police Information Centre) check.
• Experience in a GMP distribution centre/warehouse/manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delegate and assign AQPIC tasks to ensure coverage on all shifts.
• Manage inventory of controlled substances including counts and replenishment.
• Handle controlled substance returns and proper destruction when required.
• Oversee picking, auditing, and packing of orders.
• Maintain security and environmental controls for controlled substances.
• Lead audits and participate in regulatory and internal audits.
