Job summary

Hitachi Rail STS Canada, Inc. is seeking a QA Engineer to strengthen our Quality Management team in Mississauga. The role covers site installation, commissioning testing, and quality program involvement.

You will lead inspections, audits, and NCR resolution to ensure adherence to project requirements. The successful candidate will have 5+ years in quality management within transit projects, experience with ITPs, and strong communication skills to coordinate with subcontractors and program teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or quality management or equivalent technical experience.
5+ years in a project environment with field installation and delivery.
ISO 9001:2015 implementation experience or auditor certification.

Responsibilities

Support QA and QC activities at installation and commissioning sites.
Witness inspections and verifications; conduct site testing per plans.
Interface with program teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for quality execution.
Manage, track, and close site NCRs and deficiencies with corrective actions.
Support daily onsite quality interfaces with primary subcontractors.
