Job summary

TEEMA Group in Prince Edward Island, Canada, seeks a QA Lead to guide the QA team and coordinate as the primary liaison with the client and technology teams. You will establish and enforce QA policies, turn designs into test plans, and drive automation and manual testing across the lifecycle.

You will run tests in Azure DevOps, report velocity and defects, and support user acceptance testing with scripts and training material. Strong communication and API testing are essential.

Qualifications

• At least five years in QA with lead experience.
• Experience writing QA policies and procedures and driving adoption.
• Strong automated testing with Playwright in C#/.NET Core and NUnit, in Azure Pipelines.
• Solid manual testing, including test data, result checks, and scripts from specs.
• Experience across the testing lifecycle and issue prioritization.
• Azure DevOps Test Plans for managing plans, cases, runs, and defects.
• Reporting dashboards for QA velocity and defect triage.
• Working knowledge of REST and/or SOAP, JSON and/or XML.
• Clear communication with developers, PMs, and business.
• Experience supporting business teams in user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule the QA team and coach to a consistent standard.
• Serve as main contact between client and technology team and triage issues by priority.
• Create and maintain QA policies, standards, and procedures and ensure team adherence.
• Review design specs and translate to test plans, data, and scripts.
• Develop automated tests for system, end-to-end, and regression testing; maintain manual tests where needed.
• Run tests in Azure DevOps Test Plans and report QA velocity and defects.
• Support business through user acceptance testing with scripts and training material.
• Test web APIs (REST/SOAP) and verify accuracy, reliability, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with product manager, architects, developers, and UX.
