Job summary

Method Integration Inc. is seeking a Junior Quality Engineer to partner with engineering, driving automation to eliminate manual testing and improve release confidence. You will translate requirements into comprehensive test plans, build robust Playwright suites, and leverage AI coding agents to accelerate delivery.

You will collaborate across teams to expand automation, investigate failures, and strengthen CI/CD workflows, while performing selective manual testing for complex edge cases.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript, Python and Java.
• 1+ years API integration testing with Python or similar language.
• 1+ years using Selenium or Playwright for automation.
• Fluent with Git and GitHub workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain and improve test automation frameworks.
• Leverage AI coding agents to translate requirements into test plans and automation.
• Prepare code changes, review diffs and merge them into the codebase.
• Expand, harden and investigate Playwright test suites and flaky tests.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and release confidence workflows.
• Perform targeted manual testing for edge cases and risks not covered by automation.
