Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing. You will execute API tests with RestAssured and Postman, implement BDD with Cucumber, and collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure quality across Agile releases.

Candidate should have strong Java/Python skills, experience with Selenium, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber, TestNG, and Postman.
• Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Working knowledge of Git/GitHub and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with test and defect management tools such as JIRA, qTest, or ALM.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong understanding of automation testing principles and best practices
• Experience with API, UI, and integration testing
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to SQL, JDBC, and database testing
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments
• Knowledge of OpenShift (OCP)
• Exposure to Windows Server environments
• Familiarity with DevOps and cloud-based testing practices

Salary Range

CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
