Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, implement, and maintain end-to-end automation solutions in a fast-paced CI/CD environment.

You will work on functional, regression, and API automation across REST and microservices, collaborating with developers and product teams in Toronto, Ontario. Ideal candidates have strong Selenium WebDriver experience, Python/Playwright familiarity, and a track record of delivering scalable automation frameworks

Qualifications

• Experience in test automation and quality engineering.
• Develop scalable automation frameworks and API automation solutions.
• Experience working in CI/CD and DevOps environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance end-to-end automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Design and execute automated test scripts for Functional, Regression, Smoke, and End-to-End testing.
• Implement and support API test automation for REST, SOAP, and microservices-based applications.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven).
• Execute automated test runs, analyze failures, and drive defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Developers, BAs, Product Owners, and QA teams to ensure quality software delivery.
