J.L. Richards & Associates Limited invites a Pursuit Strategy Lead- Architectural to join our Architecture group. The role focuses on shaping pursuit strategy, guiding proposal development, and leveraging market intelligence to win opportunities.

You will influence go/no-go decisions, grow client relationships, and mentor staff across multidisciplinary teams. We value tenacity and collaboration, with opportunities to shape projects and community growth across Ontario.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience developing high-quality architectural proposals and leading complex pursuits.
• Experience overseeing multidisciplinary proposals and pursuit submissions.
• Ability to translate client insights into winning pursuit strategies.

• Lead pursuit strategy from identification to submission, including win themes and pricing considerations.
• Use market intelligence and client insights to strengthen competitive position.

• Collaborate with Buildings Market Director and leads to produce competitive submissions.
• Facilitate go/no-go discussions and prioritize opportunities by alignment and resources.

• Maintain pursuit planning tools, opportunity pipelines and metrics.
• Coach and mentor staff on proposal development and pursuit planning.

Your Role as a Pursuit Strategy Lead:

• Overseeing the development of comprehensive multidisciplinary proposals and pursuit submissions.
• Leading pursuit strategy from opportunity identification through submission, including win themes, positioning, team composition, resource allocation, and pricing considerations.
• Using market intelligence, client insights, and historical pursuit data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that strengthen JLR’s competitive position.
• Developing a deep understanding of JLR’s value proposition, portfolio, client base, and market presence to support informed pursuit decisions.
• Collaborating closely with the Director of the Buildings Market, Marketing & Proposals team, and discipline leads to develop high-quality, competitive submissions.
• Facilitating architectural go/no-go discussions and partnering with the Buildings Market Director to prioritize opportunities based on strategic alignment, probability of success, and resource availability.
• Supporting client engagement strategies by helping teams identify key decision-makers, understand client priorities, and strengthen long-term relationships.
• Maintaining and enhancing pursuit planning tools, opportunity pipelines, and pursuit metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
• Coaching and mentoring staff on proposal development, pursuit planning, and best practices for competitive positioning.
