Job summary

Tenneco, a leading supplier in the automotive aftermarket, is seeking a Business Development Manager for Eastern Canada. You will drive sales across NAPA and traditional channels, lead marketing initiatives, and train account teams to grow market share.

You will collaborate with regional sales and account leadership, manage pricing and contracts, and travel as needed to develop major accounts across Canada and into the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in French & English.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of proven sales experience in automotive aftermarket.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within Canada and to the U.S. for meetings.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Experience networking with decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Grow business profitably within the assigned area.
• Communicate product lines, terms of sale, pricing, and warranties.
• Implement marketing programs.
• Train and support key accounts to grow sales.
• Analyze markets for growth opportunities.
• Resolve customer requests/complaints promptly.
• Complete paperwork and manage company assets with good judgement.
• Build strong relationships with customers and industry personnel.
• Support pricing surveys and CRM data collection.
• Speak at trade association meetings when required.
• Process defective warranties per policy.
• Compile monthly sales data for the area.
• Maintain professional relationships with key accounts.
