Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a Business Development Manager for Eastern Canada. The role focuses on implementing sales and marketing programs, growing market share, and managing key accounts across NAPA and traditional channels.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in automotive aftermarket sales, be bilingual (French/English), and ready to travel up to 50% within Canada and to the U.S. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in French & English.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of five years of proven sales experience in automotive aftermarket.
• Self-starter with ability to develop and execute business and sales plans independently.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within Canada, and to the U.S. for meetings.
• Proven success in consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Proven experience networking with decision makers.
• Ability to move product inventories and manage changeovers.

Responsibilities

• Implement sales and marketing programs to NAPA & traditional sales channel key accounts within the assigned area to grow market share and meet annual sales targets.
• Contact and present to new account prospects and assist present customers in maximizing sales of products.
• Lead merchandising, marketing, and promotion of DRiV Aftermarket products.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales team and Account Leadership for growth in the region.
• Prepare monthly sales reports and maintain professional relationships with key accounts.
