Toromont Cat is seeking an OEM Buyer to join our team! This position is crucial in analyzing and maintaining inventory across all branches (55+) through OEM stock orders and emergency orders.

As an OEM Buyer, YOU will experience:

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Analyze and maintain proper stock levels in the branch network, processing stock orders to suppliers
• Process customer emergency orders daily to suppliers and/or source from internal stock
• Maintain parts pricing records in DBS, upload vendor price change files, and manage pricing disputes
• Review and process surplus returns to vendors and ensure accounts receivable files are current
• Reduce inventory obsolescence by managing inventory levels across branches
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable/Receivable to ensure prompt invoice payments and manage PO disputes and backorders

Must-haves for this role:

• 2+ years of Purchasing and Inventory Control experience
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in purchasing or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Ability to place purchase orders and maintain inventory and pricing databases
• Punctual, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Courteous customer service skills for internal and external stakeholders
• PMAC designation (Purchasing Management Association of Canada certificate)
