Job summary

The ALDO Group’s Supply Order Management team coordinates the end-to-end purchase order process to support the buying calendar and ensure timely, accurate orders. You will collaborate with internal partners and suppliers to minimize risk and improve in-season execution.

Based in Montreal, you will work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Buying, and Product Development to translate orders into action while maintaining high data integrity and timely communication.

Responsibilities

  • Create and confirm purchase orders accurately and on time to support release deadlines.
  • Use analytical reports to monitor release progress, communicate updates to team leads, and identify issues that could affect PO execution.
  • Own a designated portion of the release cycle, from contract creation through PO acceptance.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with internal teams in Montreal and overseas, as well as with suppliers, through email and virtual meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with team leads and colleagues to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Manage in-season management requests including revisions to POs and ensuring re-acceptance in vendor portal.

Overview

The Supply Order Management department plays a critical role in executing the ALDO Group’s buying calendar by ensuring customer orders are translated into accurate, timely, and actionable purchase orders. The team manages the process from final order confirmation through purchase order approval, including contract creation, analytical reporting, purchase order release and acceptance, and issue resolution. The department also supports in-season business requests. As a key coordinator between suppliers and internal business partners, the team works closely with Supply Chain (such as the demand team, DFU and transport team), Sourcing, Buying, Product Development, and vendor partners to support smooth execution and reduce operational risk.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with team leads and colleagues to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Manage in-season management requests including managing communication with buying team and sourcing team, executing revisions to POs and ensuring re-acceptance in vendor portal.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work cross-functional in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to clearly communicate both internally and externally despite time differences and language gaps.
  • Ability to formalize ideas & projects: build documents/ presentation that articulate ideas clearly & map existing & target process.
  • Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership of tasks.
  • Extremely organized and process-oriented. Proven ability to prioritize, organize, manage time and multi-task with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team.
  • Ability to review data.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a timely manner.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, lookups, data analysis, reporting) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • SAP knowledge is an asset.
