The ALDO Group is looking for an energetic, self-motivated and highly organized individual to support the Call It Spring Footwear Buying team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail, an interest in fashion and product, and the ability to understand both the merchant and operational aspects of the business. This person will work directly with the Buying team and act as a key liaison between Buying and cross-functional partners including POM, Retail Demand, Allocation, Product Development, Marketing, Visual Merchandising and E-commerce. The Buying Coordinator will support the team with purchase order coordination, in‑season management, assortment and data maintenance, reporting, and seasonal and cross‑functional initiatives.
Support the Buying team in weekly in‑season management activities
Run the Weekly Recap from the dashboard and send to the Buying team, including sales, inventory and availability
Input approved lines into the ISM template based on Buyer recommendations
Follow up with POM and Retail Demand on factory pushes, advancements and split POs
Track outstanding actions and ensure updates are completed accurately and on time
Input approved lines into the repeat template based on Buyer recommendations
Follow up with POM and Retail Demand on execution
Request MSRs from Allocation and coordinate required follow-up
Input approved Sprint lines based on Buyer recommendations
Coordinate with POM and Retail Demand on execution and follow-up
Complete retail price updates in RMM
Maintain seasonal assortment sheets throughout the product lifecycle, including:
New lines
Quantity revisions
Cluster revisions
Delivery date revisions
Ensure assortment information remains accurate and current across working files and systems
Build and maintain the Product Strategy report used by Marketing and Visual Merchandising
Ensure product and assortment information within the report remains current and accurate
Support the Buying team with additional reporting and analysis as required
Own and maintain Footwear product match-back lists for E-commerce and Allocation
Maintain Go-to-Market product selections
Ensure GTM selections remain aligned with assortment updates and product availability
Support requests from cross-functional departments including Visual Merchandising, PR, Marketing, E-commerce and Product Development
Maintain the recap room and ensure product is organized and current
Provide general administrative support to the Buying team as required
College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related program
1 to 2 years of working experience; retail or fashion background is an asset
Understanding of the retail buying cycle is an asset
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with sales and product data
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Strong team player with the ability to work cross‑functionally
Self‑motivated, proactive and willing to take ownership
Strong interest in footwear, fashion, product and consumer trends
