Job summary

ALDO Group in Montreal is seeking a Distributor who works closely with Buying, Planning, Sales & Operations to optimize store inventory and profitability.

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will distribute merchandise to a chain of stores, manage stock levels, and analyze weekly performance by product category to support informed buying decisions.

Qualifications

• A passion for retail fashion and current trends.
• A minimum 1 year of distribution experience.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication, time management, and teamwork.
• Established Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Distribute new orders of merchandise to a chain of stores following best business practices
• Manage inventory assuring that optimal levels of inventory are respected across the stores
• Prepare and analyse weekly performance and understand needs of different stores for different product categories
• Support buying decisions related to product selection based on sales volume, location, capacity, and trends
• Elaborate assortment plans quantities for future seasons
• Assess seasonally product performance by size, and build sizes curves according to divisional requirements
• Prepare and analyze inventory reports at the product and store level at the end of each season and perform recalls where and when needed
• Build strong relationships with buyers and the Sales & Operations' team

Overview
