Job summary

The Manitoba Government is seeking a Psychologist to provide advanced psychological and behavioral supports to diverse clients within Community Services and Supports. You will conduct complex assessments, deliver interventions, and may supervise staff and students as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will also engage in community education and collaboration with service providers to support individuals with neurodevelopmental and/or intellectual developmental disorders.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD/EdD/PsyD) from an accredited program.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or their families.
• Experience administering and interpreting psychological assessments.
• Experience delivering clinical/behavioral interventions for children/adults.
• Knowledge of the Adults Living with a Disability Act (ALIDA).

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced psychological/behavioral assessments and interventions for diverse referrals.
• Supervise behaviour specialists, practicum students, or other clinical staff as needed.
• Provide public education and consultation to groups and agencies on neurodevelopmental/ID disorders.
