Job summary

The Solution Engineer role in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is with Salesforce Partner Canada, a fast-growing team selling to the Canadian public sector. You will lead the solution cycle, translate client needs into Salesforce solutions, and demonstrate business value through demos and tailored points-of-view.

Qualifications

• Must live in the Greater Toronto Area.
• B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent.
• 5+ years with Canadian public sector and/or Salesforce solutions.
• At least one Salesforce certification.
• Proven experience in solution engineering and consulting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; bilingual in French & English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the entire solution cycle through close collaboration with other teams.
• Understand the client’s needs, and establish Salesforce’s product as the best solution that solves unique challenges.
• Convey a deep understanding of the client’s industry and technology as it pertains to Salesforce’s solutions.
• Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, and build and present customized points-of-view of Salesforce solutions for key decision-makers to address their needs, showing business value.
• Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge vital to be effective in the position.
• Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.
• Respond efficiently to RFxs (RFPs, RFIs and ITQs etc…).
• Lead the technical side of the sales cycle.
• Have a strong desire to grow your career and participate in our internal training programs and mentorship initiatives.
• Design and share reusable assets for the broader SE and Sales teams, such as presentations, demos, and videos.
