Job summary

The Government of Manitoba in Winnipeg is seeking a BA2 Business Analyst to join Housing, Addictions and Homelessness within Information Technology Services, Manitoba Housing. Reporting to the Manager, Service Delivery, the Business Analyst & IT Support provides business analysis, application support, desktop coordination and technology operations for the department.

Essential qualifications include a post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Analysis, plus

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in CS/IS/BA or equivalent.
Experience in requirements gathering, process analysis and UAT.
Experience supporting business applications and end-user support.
Experience with MS 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps.
Knowledge of SDLC, project delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead business analysis and requirements gathering for department applications.
Provide application support and end-user assistance for technology services.
Coordinate technology services, assets, licensing and desktop activities.
Translate business needs into technology solutions and modernization initiatives.
