Job summary

LRO Staffing seeks two Senior Business Analysts for a Public Sector client in Ottawa on a two-year on-site contract. You will support sustainment planning, conduct Business Case Analysis, and develop decision-support products.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in business analysis for sustainment planning or BCA projects.
• Experience managing stakeholder engagement in at least two projects.
• Education, certification, and experience in a relevant combination.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance and meet Controlled Goods requirements.

About The Opportunity

Our Public Sector client has a requirement for two Senior Business Analysts to support sustainment planning and Business Case Analysis activities and the development of associated decision-support products.

The successful candidates will provide senior-level business analysis support, working with senior management and stakeholders to identify business requirements, analyze complex issues, develop recommendations and solutions, and prepare and present findings throughout the project life cycle.

Duties include but is not limited to:

• Advising Senior Management on a range of issues affecting the organization’s ability to achieve project business objectives
• Making recommendations and providing advice for improvements and assisting in developing solutions, scenarios and implementing recommendations
• Preparing and presenting findings, status and other relevant matters
• Collecting and analyzing information and presenting findings on complex issues, carrying out or coordinating research as required and preparing reports
• Analyzing and documenting business requirements and delivering work products throughout the life cycle
• Consulting stakeholders, individually or through facilitated group sessions, to identify comprehensive business requirements

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience conducting business analysis in support of sustainment planning or Business Case Analysis (BCA)-related projects
• Experience managing stakeholder engagement activities in at least two (2) sustainment planning or BCA-related projects
• Must have a relevant combination of education, professional certification and experience
• Must hold a valid Secret security clearance
• Must meet applicable Controlled Goods requirements
• Must be fluent in English
