Job summary

A regional government organization in Nunavik is seeking a Public Safety & Fire Prevention Technician to develop and deliver fire prevention programs. Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related experience.
• Membership in the Quebec Association of Fire Prevention Technicians (ATPIQ) is an asset.
• Willingness to travel frequently in Nunavik.

Responsibilities

• Develop, promote, and deliver public safety and fire prevention programs to the communities.
• Educate, promote, interpret, and enforce applicable fire safety codes.
• Conduct fire investigations and prepare and maintain related reports.
