Qualifications

• Completion of a College diploma in Fire Protection and Prevention is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the National Building Code of Canada and National Fire Code is required.
• A minimum of five years of experience in First Nation Fire Prevention is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services to support fire departments in First Nations.
• Maintain fire loss statistics and provide prevention materials to First Nations.
• Assist with Emergency Management Planning for fire safety and prevention.
